WellHive Announces New Hire for VP of Federal Healthcare

Melbourne, FL - WellHive has hired former Department of Veterans Affairs healthcare executive Steve Young to be their Vice President of  Federal Healthcare.  Steve has served as a Strategic Advisor on WellHive’s Advisory Board for the past two years. Prior to that he was the Deputy Under Secretary for Health for Operations and Management in the Veterans Health Administration. He was responsible for nation-wide operations of the VA healthcare system through 18 Veterans Integrated Service Networks, as well as 25 VA Central Office program offices. Steve began his VA career almost 45 years ago washing dishes in the cafeteria. He assumed increasing levels of responsibility while working at 12 different VA medical centers, two network offices, as well as VA Central Office.
